I found several links where it showed Uconn offered her in March of her Sophomore year.

I suppose she could have asked for an offer earlier her Sophomore year. But I can't find a link.

She waited over a year from Geno's offer to verbal to ND. If she wanted Uconn, she had plenty of time to accept.

Doesn't put it to bed. The encouragement to delay a verbal was reported by Jim Fuller and was the subject of a couple of BY threads.

Timing of offer isn't conclusive. Offer could follow rebuffed desire to verbal (see Massengale, A., reported call to Pat) or recruit could go public with an existing offer but not with the concomitant advice to delay public acceptance of it.

Still not buying it. "Sources indicated"?

She had an offer as a soph.

Or, I'm totally wrong and should apologize to Wbbfan1.

Nahhhhhhhh........

You could always apologize now but delay any public admission you've done so.

Or, you could offer to apologize privately on condition Wbbfan1 accepts it, at which time you'd go public.

But Wbbfan1 may advise you to delay the apology until you're sure you're sorry.

The risk in that, of course, is that in the meantime you may decide to apologize to somebody else instead.

That opportunity will always be there, with any number of people.

Good Mourning...

A message board where no one is offended is inherently offensive.

A "desire to commit" not accepted doesn't sound like an offer was made.

But since you seem to be in the mood, you can apologize to me.

As Waq pointed out, it was a pretty weak statement by the reporter, and one of the infor appeared to come from Reimer.

I take it back. I still don't think wbbfan1's point is relevant.
