I can't bring myself to hate Syracuse. I have way too many friends who went there. And they are a legit basketball power that have traded numerous punches with the Huskies and remain one of our greatest rivals. That said, I don't want them to do too well and I damn sure don't want them to win the NC.

they will continue to enjoy p5 status b/c their foosbal earns 33+mil per yr and UCONN by comparison earns 11.1mil and dropping fast
on paper they will dominate recruiting scene and continue to be delusional with their stockpiling of helms and helms type accolades while UCONN with a dwindling budget will be forced to drop all high school hoop recruiting outside NYC/state of Conn/Balto/Boston/Los Angeles and maybe Chicago and focus remaining dwindling resources on Juco and overseas hoop recruiting and with current foosbal regime start to do contingent planning to de-emphasize big boy foosbal and return to Memorial Stadia styling
also UCONN with current "goofball conference forced slate" for hoops will contingent plan to move basketball program to A-10 and say f to c7 or remotely consider taking hoops independent because of current top blue blood brand status
