You made an absolute statement based on _your_ preferences. Not what college kids actually prefer.

Pepperdine is gorgeous. But most college kids want to be near-ish home.
NYC is great. I had absolutely no interest in going to undergrad there.

NYU is one of the most popular schools in the country as it had over 60,000 applicants last year, Notre Dame for instance had 19,596, Louisville 10,404, Baylor 37,084, UConn 36,000, South Carolina 25,057, Ohio State 52,000

2% < 50%.

I'm actually finding a bunch of different stats for NYU acceptance rates.....just saw this....... The acceptance rate for the NYU Class of 2022 fell to a record low of 19 percent after admissions ...
