Don't quote me on this, however if there is a coaching change, the players may not have to sit out if they choose to leave. In CFB, players have a 30 day window.
The sit out rule no longer applies regardless the number of times a player has transferred. The windows may be applicable, however with the way the NCAA is going, I doubt they'll hold fast to these "guidelines" much longer. What is unfortunate is that these athletes have gone through a process to select a new team and won't play for the coach who recruited them.

What's she been up to? I seem to recall she landed somewhere as an assistant, but I might be making that up.
Not sure where she has been. Her daughter Kaeli just finished up her sophmore year at MD, so she will be coaching her for two more years. I remember Kaeli with her mom watching HS games when Jody was an asst coach for USC. Geez time goes bye,

Apparently Miami's new HC Tricia Cullop has retained highly regarded assistant coach Fitzroy after all (smart move) and has just added Muriel Page to her staff as well (also a smart move). Like what I'm seeing.

Quick announcement to replace Bluder -

Virtually had to name her Jan Jensen so the floodgates didn't open up with possible transfers and/or decommitments.
Only other person that came to mind ASAP was the former Jennie Lillis, (now Baranczyk), who spent her collegiate career at the University of Iowa as a great hoopster before becoming a good college coach.

Jensen is a terrific post coach and from everything I've read was the chief recruiter of Caitlin Clark and subsequently spent a lot of time with Clark during her career.

All power to Coach Bluder and Good luck to Head Coach Jensen.

That was so fast it makes me think it's been in the works for a while. Has there ever been a same day coach retired/new coach named before?

Kyra Elzy to Duke.
One Volunteer alum joins another. Think they overlapped for one year? (Elzy's a bit older, if memory holds).
Well, Elzy is known for recruiting and defense, so that fit's in the old 'Vol modus operandi.

They overlapped two years (99-00 and 00-01). Elzy didn't play in 98-99 due to injury.

This should be the last of the former Lady Vols. I've never been too keen on them.... Two volunteer limit

This is like saying Beetlejuice three times...... are we really going there? Where's the sarcasm emoji when it's needed? ;)

1. It was a honest question.

2. I've never seen the movie Beetlejuice. Is that the dude with the mechanical hand?

1). Oh my..... it's a loaded question my friend that would hijack this thread big time.

2). No, you're describing Edward Scissorhands. Bettlejuice is about a mischievous ghost who has been banned but can return if he's able to trick someone into saying his name three times.

Personally, I thought this was one of Michael Keaton's more memorable performances, however I was a teenager at that time and am likely overlooking his work in the 80s. Ironically, the long awaited sequel is due out soon which I'm keen on seeing.

When did UConn fans start hating Vols....? I have detested them since 1991.... didn't like the men vols in the 80s.
I forgot where did Kara Lawson play college basketball again?
