A fortnight from now we'll be 1-0 with Maryland on the horizon. Should be fun.

Don't count the chickens before the hatcheroo as Mad Dog Russo would say when he was alive.

If they look past Towson we could find ourselves losing at halftime. Last year William and Mary had Maryland on the ropes and Stony Brook gave Syracuse a major scare.

Towson is supposed to be solid again this year. This is their Super Bowl, they will be jacked, come out flat and suffer the consequences.

Towson is a preseason top 15 team in FCS. I fear what a close game or God forbid a loss will do to the BY.

We have not lost to an FCS team so far. We are DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED.

Instead of focusing on a potential loss to Towson, can't we just be happy that next week is the last week of the summer where we won't have a game to look forward to?

Agreed mattp. I can't believe how cynical folks are in here...some folks, I should clarify that. I'm concentrating on how many holes the O-line opens up and how many yards past 100 McCombs ends up with. How many yards Delorenzo and Hippolite get. Which of the newcomers makes a great play. How much different the play calling is this year from last.... on both sides of the ball. Does Knappe get in and how he does, stuff like that...not......"oh no the sky is falling!!! We might not win against Towson because......."

I think he meant figuratively when Russo went to satelite radio.

Yup, "Mad Dog" died the day he signed that contract.

Towson is better than you think and I assure you the coaching staff is worried about winning the game before they worry about anyone's individual performance.

Respecting your opponent isn't saying the sky is falling. It's realizing you actually have to play the game before you take your victory lap.

Over the top sensitive. Chill out man.

UConn is 10-14 the last two years. They lost a ton of talent to the draft and graduation. For someone to be so blindly arrogant to think that they will walk over a good FCS team and they are just showing up to count the yards is stupid. It's just a disconnect from reality.
