Lengthy extension up north for the coach

New Hampshire just signed Maureen Magarity to a lengthy extension after her first contract for 4 years was up...good for the university...good for Maureen and husband
Brendan...Windsor Locks High grad and current UNH assistant coach...a la UHart with Jen and her husband.

Maureen is the daughter of Army coach Dave Magarity. She now has all her own players there and the program is on the upswing. She did have an offer from a school in a higher conference but...imo...it would have been a lateral move at best and Durham NH is a nice place to raise a family...she and Brendan have a 17 month old daughter who is darn cute and according to a biased source can already palm a basketball.

Do we know where Regan is going? Is it possible she could play for her (aunt?) at UNH?

It's been fun watching the Wildcat's rise. Four years from now, I'm expecting NH will have a hard time keeping her....

Regan Magarity has gone public with her signing with Virginia Tech.
Regan is from Sweden...her older brother Billy is a frosh at BC...pretty much everybody in the family is a basketball player....great family.
