Johnny Egan, Ernie D., Jim Hadnot, Joey Hasset. As I said, you have to go pretty far back to the days when it was beneath Providence to play Uconn. Providence was the only New England school that was ever in the national picture. Uconn rivals were URI, Umass, Holy Cross and the other Yankee Conference members. I can remember that it was a big deal when we got to play Rutgers in the tourney. Things have changed just a little since then.
