My guess? she probably lost the fight with the owners regarding Isiah Thomas becoming president and part owner of the Liberties. They defer that issue until the end of the season and now they have addressed it. She probably didn't want any part of Thomas and lost...Thomas will be voted in and lose some more money. With the Knicks tanking badly, Dolan wants to share some of the losses with someone else..
