Ugh I don't want to see Daniels go needs to work on a few things. But I would love to see him at Charlotte. Would be a good fit
I think we all agree that DD needs to work on a lot of things. Ironically, his biggest weakness may be the reason why he needs to declare. For someone as inconsistent as DD has been, I think its foolish to not take guaranteed money if its out there. As a UConn fan, its easy to dream big with DD. A great senior year certainly catapults him up. Just as likely, an inconsistent one plummets him deep into the second round.

Sorry but after looking at this I put zero confidence in these predictions. They have the celtics taking smart and Bazz, arguably the one position they don't need to draft is guards. They've picked bigs recently, but still, rondo and Bradley are there

First off, chances are good that they will move Rondo this offseason. There is also talk that they may not extend a qualifying offer to Bradley. If they are rebuilding, I can certainly see them draft two guards.

Yeah, until the draft lottery, they can't even do the order properly.

NBADraft.net is horrible. Pay them no mind. It's amateur hour compared to DX.
as far as evaluations yes but draftexpress's mock drafts are pretty terrible, they don't align right until a few weeks up until the draft. up until a few days ago they had Bazz getting drafted around 55 or so, which is nuts.

How inconsistent were Parker and Wiggins who are projected to go higher? It's about timimg, and Dre peaked at the right tiime. He has the size and skill to compete in the NBA, IMO his glaring weakness is that he needs to bulk up, but he showed his abililty to hit the three, drive to the basket and to create his own shot.

He performed in pressure situations and took over some games. I think he should ride this momentum into the NBA and make the most of it. I think he's a first round pick. I only hope he doesn't hire an agent until he has a better feel of where he'll get picked, going in the 2nd round for a guy with his talent would be a waste and he would do better for himself with another year and another ring

I've been saying all year that Bazz will end up on the Celtics. Danny Ainge came to watch him play multiple times this year. Value pick at #18 if it happens.

That would let the Celts trade Rondo for something good.

I hate to say it but if DD is projected to be in the 20-25 range, he should go. I don't see him being able to elevate himself into the lottery next year as a senior, so that's about as high as he'd ever go.

If he were projected to be in the 28-35 range, I would recommend he stay and try to become a stronger lock for the first round.

Bazz going at 18 would be fantastic. I don't think many of us thought going into this year that he'd be closer to the lottery than to the second round.

Honestly if DD puts weight on and provides some of that takeover potential he has throughout the season, I see no reason he wouldnt be able to go as high as the teens next year in a slightly less cramped draft (we assume). I'm not going to hate on either guy if they go after bringing us a ring, but Daniels can absolutely be a late lottery guy if he has a solid year leading this team in scoring with Boat

Of course DD can improve his draft position, just like Bazz did this year. Remember all those same arguments being made about Bazz last year?

Having said that, if DD can go in the first round, he probably should go.

I was beyond disgusted entering late AAC play when givony had napier as literally the last pick in the draft. lmao. Apparently he has a background as a scout, but his website only gained serious cred when Woj/Yahoo started backing it. Its not really givonys fault, no astute gm would give out information on a prospect they feel is a hidden gem. Thats why everything chad ford spews is second hand bullshit from random executives.

One positive for this site is that they are up to date regarding who has actually declared and who has stated that they are coming back. ESPN still lists several who have said they are coming back.

Getting Napier and Daniels taken in the first round this year would be huge for recruiting.
That is a great point that some people, including myself, forget!
