Like you, I haven't yet been to one. Really looking forward to it this year. None of my usual football crew is going so I'll have to seek out some Boneyarders to hang with!

Third signing day for me. Curious to hear about incoming class, new coaches, new roles for "old" coaches, BE turmoil....

This is Warde Manuel's first signing day. Jeff Hathaway was fairly friendly at this event, I'm interested to see how Warde interacts with the fans.

I've been to a few. It's pretty good. I wouldn't make some huge drive or go way out of my way to attend but it's something in the dark days of winter.

I have been 3 times - will go again this year. Pretty good event.

Been there, done that, doing that again... Free and whets the appetite for Spring.

Going for the last 6 - 7 years. 10 of us from Bristol going again this year, always a good time. If you have not been there before you should make a point of attending.

Went for the first time last year. Going again this year. It's fun to listen to the coaches break down highlights on players and talk about the program. Definitely worth checking out.

First time attending...... Traveling from Md....... Gives me a chance to drop off supplies!

Great event for those that like to get up close with the staff as they mingle around the floor. Good photo ops for those with kids. Signing session with 8 to 10 upperclassmen who also float the floor and answer any quary you may have.
Does not get much better if you are a die hard. Ok free parking also, that will not happen again until this time next year....
Myself + 1 .....

I'm the fence. It sounds like a good time, but I live in New Haven and it's kind of a long drive for a total lack of tailgating or football games.

We have been going for 7/8 years now, a great event, wouldn’t miss it… as usual hope to hook up with WildGopher and Murph (and the rest of the guys from the SteamBolier)….

Went for the first time last year with my dad, we'll be there again this year. Looking forward to it!

40 minutes is a long drive now-a-days Loop?

Oh - parking lots are open - you can tailgate. we did that a few years ago when it was a balmy day. No interference from anyone.

An hour and twenty if you count that I will probably have to go home at some point.

And tailgating by yourself is just a little awkward.

Oh for goodness sake stop making excuses, just go. Get over to the buffet, fill your plate and circulate. If you get lonely just look for an ol lady with dsrk hair, with her son and grandson who is 6'3"". We will be happy to talk with you. although grandson maybe getting there a little later.
Goes for you too Butch.

You will be glad you did, it's a good informative time.

If you think Signing Day is too much of a spectacle now, I have bad news. It’s about to get even worse athleticscholarships.net/2013/01/30/nca…

This is where HFD fits into UConn's plans. Future Husky Signing Day Coordinator (as long as he has a desk in UConn Compliance Office).

I will be there with a usual friend and one other who has never been to a signing day event. Good time to talk to the coaches and meet some of the players.
