Las Vegas Aces vs Seattle Storm - 9/13/20

Bold prediction--McBride is gonna get a T before the game is over. She's really frustrated right now, she was very demonstrative after getting that last foul called on her. Really should've gotten a T right there.

Seattle has been going w/ Prince rather than Canada. Not sure about that call.

Hamby just gave the Aces their first lead since early in Q3. She has 23. Wilson has disappeared this half.

Really bad decision making by Seattle. Why is Russell dribbling around, and why is she shooting? Somebody needs to take charge. Russell is 1-7 shooting today. They had control most of the 2nd half but they're about to let this slip away. Can we put Canada back in?

Now Loyd is ice cold. Canada finally back in, I think they waited too long.

Seattle has been awful in Q4, but still has a chance. Down 3 w/ possession, 44 seconds left. I can't even remember the last time they scored. So many missed bunnies.

Another freaking shot rimmed out, been a ton of those. Wilson hits a jumper to go up 5, 16 seconds left. That probably iced it.

Pretty lackluster game with the top seed in the playoffs on the line.

Loyd w/ a quick catch and shoot 3. 84-82 w/ 12.8 sec. left. Seattle has to foul, so if LV hits FTs it's over.

McBride hit both. Loyd w/ another 3 but that took too long. 3.4 sec. left. 86-84. Loyd now w/ 30.

Wilson sealed the MVP. Expect these 2 teams in the finals.

Weird finish. Robinson nearly ran out the clock, but they fouled her w/ .3 left. She missed the first FT, then missed the 2nd on purpose (smarter than the Sparks!), but committed a lane violation. I guess Seattle was out of TOs? They had to inbound from 3/4 quarter, inbound pass got tipped. Anticlimatic ending.

Surprised both Bird and Stewart sitting out. Vegas is going to pull this out. Wilson likely takes home MVP, too.

Still think we saw too much of Prince in the 4th quarter, and maybe Russell shouldn't have been out there. She certainly shouldn't have been taking shots.

Reminder to the UConn fans--Dearica Hamby is Olivia's sister-in-law. I hope some of her tough, clutch play rubs off on Liv.

Clark didn't score in the 2nd half. I saw elsewhere she needed one more bucket to hit double figure scoring average for the season, would've been the first time in her career.

Wilson got a couple big scores late, but Hamby carried the team the whole 2nd half.

Anyone knows why Bird and Stewart are not playing the last 2 games? Thanks...

I think they said something about Stewart's foot. It was precautionary. Sounds like she could've played today. I think Bird banged her knee again at the end of the Dallas game, the same one that's had her in and out of the lineup all season.
