This can be another +100 game for both teams.

Vegas doing well in the paint. AO only has 6 shots at the half.

Sabally w/ 21 off the bench, but Vegas is gonna win. Up 9 w/a minute left.

26 pts/8 boards for Wilson, 18/14 for Hamby. W/ Hartley starting some games now for Phoenix, Hamby may be best sub in the league.

Whoa. This is a 2 point game w/ 1.5 seconds left. Sabally up to 28 now.

edit--never mind, 96-92 final

Hamby was the Sixth Woman of the Year last season.

I thought so. Could be a repeat. She plays starter minutes but Bill likes have Swords on the floor a the beginning of games.

Mabrey played less than 3 minutes in the 4th quarter. I wonder why?

The trainer may have put a minutes limit on her, since she came into the day listed as doubtful.

Or maybe her technical kept her off the court?

I am guessing it is a buildup of Mabreys general undisciplined game and attitude to being coached. I have seen her talk back alot to Agler and just giving a general stink eye.

She definitely has a set of Playground / Horse tricks and remarkable range (if not accuracy) but must be a pain to coach.

She's been their best option as the PG/SG in the starting lineup. I will have to pay more attention to her body language and such towards Agler, because I dont look for those things. Hopefully she starts to behave better, she's too good to let that sideline her.

Amazing how tough and hardnose she is. I was of the opinion she was more of a finesse player at OU. No more.
Part of it may be system (at UO), part Satou's inconsistency/tendency to lose focus prior to her last year in Eugene--lots of work on that from the coaches (and, I imagine, Ionescu)--when she did average about 7 rebounds/game. (She's also had some 20 or so rebound games for the German national team.) So the potential has always been there. But I think she's stepped things up a notch at Dallas, where her rebounding numbers are somewhere above 7/game and she's had 3 double/doubles in the 11 games she's been on the court. Turning pro has been good for her game generally (assists/blocks, as well as rebounding), with the exception of her shooting, which has not come close to her effectiveness in college. But I think that will change. (Having a legit point guard would help, and I wish Harris got more minutes, and Mabrey less, in that regard .)
