She might as well swing by CT. next week for 1st Night and hang out awhile. Bradenton/IMG will get blasted by Milton and I doubt there will be any classes to attend anytime soon. Could be a couple weeks or so with no power.

Yeah, just getting back into Tampa/St Pete might be problematic - Uconn's new recruiting 'Come to Storrs, we only have snow and ice to contend with!'

I just checked her Instagram and she still follows Coach Kara, the Duke women’s basketball account and two of the Duke Assistants, two of their players and their Social Media person.

Must’ve done it after my post then. She unfollowed them all a day ago.

Lawson no longer follows her. Typically they follow if they’re still interested. She’s also recently (just today) started following UCONNMBB and UCONNBSB. 2 new UCONN related accounts.

I saw Lara Somfai posted an Instagram story implying she is in Florida right now and not First Night. I was thinking she had said she was going to be there. Not good news for UConn in my opinion. (Someone please correct me if she is actually at First Night lol)

Well, she might have had school.

We’re also the only team visit she’s posted anything from. And she follows 4 UCONN related accounts, including the baseball team and the Huskies account.

I forgot about the gap. Somfai visited in March but didn't do this IG post until early May.

I've been hopeful and ?? confident about Lara for a few years now. I don't
know all of the variables for this type of decision, but I just sense that
she is an excellent "fit" for UCONN: skill, temperament, and "The Smile"!
Did I mention that she is 6' 4" and already plays with Kelis?? Yes, and Yes!

Agreed......she's a great fit for UConn and has consistently shown a lot of interest in the program.......still I'm not counting my chickens with the way the recruiting game is being played these days.....

Not to overanalyze, but I thought it was interesting she has posted pictures from her UConn visit and Stanford visit on her main Instagram feed, but not from her Duke visit (she posted stuff on her story). But it makes me wonder if she’s saving the pictures of her Duke visit for a commitment announcement? Just a theory, I know Kara Lawson unfollowed her, so it’s probably nothing.

Duke doesn’t do photo shoots on visits. So it’s not out of the ordinary that she didn’t post pics from that visit.

are you sure about that?? Maybe its a pic from after commitment in my mind but I recall seeing Cooper Flagg pic.

Definitely overanalyzing. Very unlikely that Somfai ends up in Durham.
