I enjoy the Onion but this is pretty lame. It's probably a Wisconsin-Minnesota thing. The Lynx are awesome.

For the 90% of the sports audience that thinks women's basketball is a "non-sport" it is actually pretty funny. Even as one of the enlightened 10%, I can chuckle along with the naysayers and see their point of view -- I don't agree with it, but I can see how they think. It's unfortunate for them that they don't drop their close-minded preconceptions and enjoy one of the most exciting, fan-friendly sports in the world. And take a look at Maya in the pic ... she looks truly fulfilled!
