A team from the Sun Belt!

Say it with me: Over - rated.

LA-Monroe has a Big East invitation in their fax machine already.

I would, if it wasn't for the fact that Alabama took a Michigan offensive lineman and shoved him up another Michigan offensive lineman's a.....but yes, other than that, the SEC is overrated.

Idiot penatly by ULM on 3rd & 10 gives Ark fresh set of downs

.-.
Ark fans to burn pix of both Petrino and their current coach in effigy.

Somehow, I feel marginally better about today after having seen that QB run it in on 4th and 1...

This will end up being bad when they drill Rutgers.

So did I.

Then, I noticed that LA-Monroe put up 550 yards of offense at Arkansas and a blood vessel in my brain exploded.

Screw that. Who's their offensive coordinator and how quickly can he move to CT?

They supposed to be SEC!

just wondering, what's the biggest upset we've ever had?

Don't worry ... Arkansas fans aren't really disappointed ... they scored a few td's and it was exciting ...

Ha! I take it you were following the discussion between me and Zoo on the other thread. I like the comment! ;)

Good question. Some people might point directly to last year's Western Michigan game, but at least they were a bowl team. In 2001, we got beat by much worse teams (although we were in a 1-A transition year and not fully there until 2002), like Eastern Washington (1-AA) and a 56-7 drubbing by Temple.

I was at the game in West Point when Todd Berry's Army team got crushed by UConn in 2003. To this day, that Army team was the least disciplined team I have ever seen. There were 2 or 3 personal fouls from Army players nailing Sanchez while the punts were still in the air. To this day I can't figure out what those guys were thinking doing that. I remember thinking after the game that if Berry couldn't get Army to play with discipline, then he had no business being a college coach.

Nice game by Berry this weekend.

Those were flat out cheap shots. That game was a disgrace to Army football.
