Kyle Anderson transferring?

I've heard people on this board say Kyle Anderson might transfer if he does not go pro. Is there any truth in this? And where would he transfer?

Very interested to see how he turns out in the NBA. He says he's a PG but he basically played PF this year. His athleticism concerns me given the fact that he can't shoot at all. You need to have one or the other at the next level.

Regardless, he can transfer to UConn if he'd like.

9.7 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 3.5 apg is not so bad for a 19 year old freshman. He's got a solid handle & needs work on his shooting. While he isn't a great athlete, he seems to make up for that with IQ. If he transfers, he would be 21 years old when he is eligible though. Is it worth him to transfer?

his shooting is terrible, hes a great rebounder and passer for his size. Would be a HUGE mistake if he went pro after his poor season for such a high 5* recruit.

For those who claim the NBA is so talented today, this is a classic example of why they are wrong. Sure the level of athleticism is far greater today than 15 years ago, but the league is filled with kids like him. Top recruits who were ok in a year or two of college and then they go pro, get drafted, and will play. Kid has no business on an NBA roster, but if he were to leave he, would get drafted and would most play if he made a bottom 15 team. Far too many one and two and dones in the league playing because teams tank it for 3-5 years stockpiling young talent and hoping they develop. This can be said of more than half the teams in the East.

I don't get this post. If those kids develop, they play. If they don't, they're Omar Cook. Kids making dumb decisions isn't somehow proof that there's less talent in the NBA.

I suppose the severity of his injury will play a role. If he would still be in recovery next fall then a transfer would make sense.

Love the fact he rebounds and passes but he's an awful shooter and would prefer to play guard....strange player and a little too much "show" there and not much on the defensive end either......will try to be a one-and-done too, doubt he fits!!!!
