Some sites claim she is 6'1". Others state 6'2".
Maybe she's still growing. She may be 6'5" by the time she gets here.
Well?

Usual answers:

(A) One measurement is with shoes on (the most common method), other with shoes off.
(B) Schools and AAU programs often exaagerate heights.
(C) Articles often contain inaccurate information.
(D) She is still growing and the 6-2 is now the accurate height.

Maybe she will continue to get taller, although the average 16 year-old girl is done growing.

I recognize that woman in the middle. This was from an AAU event this summer in DC.

Definitely taller than 5'9" here

"up lens"???????
Anyway I conclude she is a legitimate 6'2 & 1/4 inches with the potential of an inch or so more.
Don't know if I'd go as high as 6'2 & 1/4 inches. Looks closer to 6'2 & 3/16 to me. I suppose we can round it to 7/32.

They should have software that calculates height from pictures. But then we would have less to bandy about [I love idioms].

bandy something about also - bandy about something
to talk about something without being careful about facts. The number $31 million was bandied about at the time, although actual losses might have been much lower.

Seems we bandy about a lot on this forum just for fun.

C'mon, Meyes; Husky basketball means you never compromise!!!! Perfection is the name of the game.

Well, Sonny boy, it's good that you came to this board, where every-so-many are dedicated to an everlasting crusade for detailed factual information and the abject minutia of basketball. Even the traditional BY rule about subtracting 2" from any Guard being recruited is now subject to extension to the front court troops.
(Although this may derive from the olde UConn publicity releases explaining Eddie Slomcenski's leaping ability by consistently listing him at 6' 11")

<< [I love idioms].>>
Hey!! Be careful what you call our players...
They may be idioms at some point... but, now they're OUR idioms.

Closer to the camera which, especially, distorts sizes as the closer to a wide angle appearing significantly larger. It is why all those photos have deer seem have mammoth racks compared to the hunters.
