Kuran Iverson (NY Lightning 2013) – Iverson has eyes for one school and one school only, Kentucky. He doesn’t currently hold an offer from Kentucky but claims that they are recruiting him. I gave Iverson multiple chances to mention other schools that he holds offers or interest from and each time he declined. He likes the up tempo free flowing system at Kentucky and that’s where he wants to go.

Kentucky can have any player they want. There not gonna waste their time on an unreliyable 3 star recruit
 
Jeez, this kid Kuran Iverson has taken quite the tumble in the rankings, huh? Am I remembering wrong or was he like #2 in the country a couple years ago? What has happened?

he is not a three star by anyone. He is a good player who does everything well but is not outstanding in any one thing. I would bet he ends up anywhere but Kentucky.
 
He was not even the best player on his team before Zach Lewis got suspended. He has talent but a big guy who likes to hang on the perimeter and dispises contact
 
I talked to a kid on his high school team, he told me most likely Syracuse for iverson.

Good news as long as it's NOT UConn........not a kid we want in a Husky uni....have good sources who basically say way overrated and not at all about the "team"....

After the NC, and with another mass exodus to the NBA, Calipari can have recruits take numbers, like at my supermarket's deli counter.
 
i would like to get kuran. kid is a huge sf in the making. hes not a 1 and done like he wants to think. he does a little bit of everything and JC and this staff can make him really good at a couple things. he will be sought after. i never got why he played for the lightning instead of ct but who knows...
 
I saw him play at the hoophall classic. He only had 4 points. He was all hype... maybe if his last name wasn't Iverson we wouldn't be talking about him.
 
a kid that tall that can shoot from 3 and is a bit raw i would love a shot at developing. we had 2 good years lately on the recruit trail so now u guys are all spoiled. considering next year we would be back to 13 ships i would think kuran being ship 12 or 13 would be a pretty good add. give him time to develope and then perform for his home state. if u can't see the potential then maybe its just me and i'll be quiet.

Kuran Iverson may be another Tevin Baskin. Throw around the names of top programs that are supposedly hot for you then sign with a mid or low major. I agree that he has benefited from his name. We need players that want to be here not because their 'dream school' doesn't want them.

I hear you but according to sources he believes he's close to a one and done and yet you want him to come to UConn and have the staff make him better in a couple 3 years....he's more like the guys that actually believe Calipari makes the one-and-dones better?? I don't get these dopes.........he certainly was impressive in making them play together I get that......but anyone who doesn't believe AD was going to the NBA even if he played at Framingham State is missing the boat..........same with Rose, Wall, Knight and all of them..........they're ready aty 18-19 yrs old....he's not God!!!

Jeff Goodman was on Sirius the other day on his show touting Calipari like he was his love child.....pitiful ...........

ok so from now on every recruit i see im going to think, its just a hl vid it means nothing. yes i know its a hl vid, i'm not stupid but to look at those and not see the potential is blind on your part. kid is 6'8 for real measured up, hell marq needs a freaking center that height.

i watched unibrown davis's vid last year after he commited to uk and thought ahhh, its just a hl vid, it doesn't mean anything. come on.

Never called or inferred you are stupid. But, to base so much on a hl vid is like watching a trailer from some movie being advertised on TV and believing the entire movie is as good as the trailer. I'm skeptical of high light films as they don't showcase all aspects of the player. The hl vid of DD last year was pretty impressive, but that sure didn't translate into how he performed.
 
After initially atching their respective highlight videos, I thought Oriakhi was Kevin McHale and Jamal Coombs-McDaniel and DeAndre Daniels were both Scottie Pippen.
