Randle only had 7 shots total. I think 5 were at the end of the first half

Kromah and Giff were HUGE down the stretch. The boards and pump fake by Kromah were crucial and Giff, after missing something like 7 or 8 open 3's in a row, hits the two biggest 3s you can imagine, AND, testiculo'ing up against Randle down the stretch. Incredible. It wasn't pretty, but yet again, we're fuc**ng champions. I'll miss both of them a lot.

All these guys stepped up and adjusted when needed for the benefit of the team. Coach Ollie deserves a lot of credit.

I said Kromah could be a wild card in this game and sure was. A great veteran presence and team first guy great pickup by our staff.

Lasan was def not afraid of the moment. Two huge free throws in crunch time. Tough interior play to compliment Neils, and especially given the foul trouble of our bigs. He came to play. A boss.

Here's a guy who really made an impact and isn't in the forefront of heroes…….thank you LK now a Husky for life!

He was tough last night!

Those 2 free throws will make him talk loud and proud when he's shares his Championship ring story with his children one day.

That Giffey played randle so well is crazy. I saw that guy destroy people much bigger than Niels. Just a flat out awesome effort.
I think it was more the pressure we put on their guards that made it hard to get Randle the ball but Giffey played great.

We also swarmed Randle. He made some OK passes out of the double (and airmailed one into the 10th row), but we really neutralized him.

Those free throws made it so that UK had to chuck threes. If he misses even one, they probably attack the basket and get a easy layup and are down 2 or 3 with 20 seconds to play. They weren't El-Amin vs. Duke level clutch, but they were close . . .

That pass was one play where I thought, have these guys ever seen a real defense?
