Let's please wait until more than one source confirms something.

As HuskyHawk noted, it makes no sense to bring a seven month old infant on board, so let's remain skeptical and hopeful until confirmation by multiple sources.
I don't understand the conflict between age of the person and mode of travel. Why is it so far fetched for a seven month old to be on a helicopter with her millionaire father?

very likely safer than being in a car.

Have not been this sad in a long time
Yeah I am still in a state of shock about this.

I wish UConn's struggles and their loss to Tulsa was the only thing that was bad today. So sad and tragic Prayers to the Bryant family.

God, his last tweet was last night congratulating Lebron for passing him on the scoring list. Just unreal.

I would rather be writing and reading posts on UConn's struggles than hearing about this. So sad and tragic.
It does really put things in perspective. No matter the record, these are people and they can be gone in a moment.

Man barely got to enjoy his retirement. May he rest in peace.

Gotta feel for his daughters, especially the baby.

Per Woj, Gianna was on board. Along with another player and parent. Devastating.

I'm out at the mall with my wife and kids while she gets a haircut. Literally everyone in the salon is on their phones, reading and talking about this.

Indescribably tragic.

Reports now say his 13yo daughter also killed. Not sure if she is the one who dreamed of playing for Geno. Horrible news.
Doesn’t matter if she wanted to play for UConn or not. This is the saddest sports moment I have ever lived through. I’m distraught. Can’t imagine how those who knew and loved him and Gianna feel.

RIP Kobe, you inspire us all.
