I can imagine in real life he sounds something like this kid from The Polar Express movie. Just a twerp with one of those voices that you want to slap across the face.

That "twerp" is actually about 50 years old. He played the prodigal assistant to the computer engineer in the original War Games. He is referred to as "Mr. Potatohead" in the scene where the expert teaches Matthew Broderick about backdoor passwords and mentions going through "Falken's Maze" as a way to figure out how to play "Global Thermonuclear War."

seriously, if one of ya'll ever see this clown in public, please cave his chest in. I would love to do the honors myself.

Asshat, but I liked his follow up tweet:

That being said, yes, I was wrong. I can own it. To think if this team played like this all year what they do. January February UConn April.

Branch McCracken won in 1940 (3-0) and 1954 (4-0). He lost the next game to Notre Dame in the S16 (first round for him).
Henry Iba won in '45 (3-0) and '46 (3-0) and then lost in the title of '49 (so started 8-0).
Ken Loeffler of La Salle won in '54 (5-0) and then was runner up in '55 (4-1).
Phil Woolpert of San Francisco won in '55 (5-0) and '56 (4-0). He lost in the Final Four of '57 (2-1).
Fred Taylor of Ohio State won in '60 (4-0) and was runner up in '61 (3-1)
Ed Jucker at Cincy won in '61 (4-0) and '62 (4-0) before losing in the '63 title game (3-1)
Steve Fisher at Michigan won it all in '89 (6-0) and then won a game in '90.

Aaaaaand that's the list.

Fisher is the only modern era coach who's done it. All the rest are ancient history when you weren't necessarily competing against the best teams in the country because half or more of them played in the NIT each year. Ollie only has one comparable guy to beat tomorrow. Then again, why doesn't Ollie just run the freakin' table this year and smoke the rest of these old timers as well?

There is an asterisk by Fisher as well. Bill Frieder coached that team all season and accepted a job with Arizona State for the following year. He told Bo Schembechler, and was immediately fired. In the most blatant instance of coaching someone else's team, Fisher took over for the Tournament.

he'll be hammering KO the next time they lose, every loss is due to KO, never has anything to do with the players who take the court on both sides. Always amazes me how simple minded college sports fans are, and this dude is actually a media member. It is dangerous to have someone that stupid in sports media of any kind.

OK, and I can acknowledge that he did the right thing.
Wait, I'm starting to sound like John Kasich.
Well, someone else can call him a loser.
