Bottom line is that I never felt good about the way Ollie was forced upon the program. I mean, I guess we should have trusted Calhoun to make the right call on the way out, he certainly earned it, but the decision and the timing put the school in a tight spot.
In the end, I'll take the NC. With the APR crap and the CR crap its been, once again, a perfect storm for us. At this point, Ollie clearly isn't up to the task. Once the season is over he'll have to move on and we have to hit a home run with the next coach.
The school is on the brink of being marginalized. We have to master our own destiny.
