OK! Dylexsia strikes again. I swear I stared at the title and saw interesting, not inretesting -- sorry! The verbage below was created in OpenOfficeWriter and spell checked. I'll have to do the same with the title.

Here are some interesting and perhaps bizarre weapons that mostly failed. A good thing since most were conceived by the Nazis. Not all however!
  1. What is the Bob Semple Tank?
  2. What is the Panzerfaust's (Armor Fist) use? Kind of gives the answer away.
  3. This one is a failed effort but nonetheless the Russians during WWII tried to build this hybrid contraption at their Naval Engineering Institute. It had two modes of mobility. What was it?
  4. What was the purpose of the post WWII USA developed device known as the Davy Crockett? Digital gamers playing Fallout and Metal Gear Solid 3 may have seen this weapon. Ask your grand children.
  5. OK! Another one from the ever inventive Nazis, the Fliegerfaust (Plane Fist)! What was it its use? OK! Its intended use? Its concept works quite well today.
  6. Those crazy Nazis tried anything to kill you. Their Panzerwurfmine had limit success since it had to hit its target at a 90° angle, no more, no less. What was its intended purpose (target) and how was it used? It is somewhat related to the Panzerfaust. (Panzerwurfmine, Panzerfaust, Fliegerfaust, etc. - no wonder I struggled with learning spoken German.)
  7. The Strumpistole (Assault Pistol) failed because it had too many what? The Swiss army knife was far more successful.
  8. The Zielgerat 1229 was the first accessory to provide the Nazis ground troops with what?
  9. The Fritz X was the first of this type of bomb? Most probably wouldn't think it was possible during WWII.
  10. Flechette was the Nazis' WW I answer to the Brit's favorite pub game. They had a characteristic not found in the pub game. How were they used?
  11. In WW I Lance Corporal William Beech invent a device for not getting his head blown off in the trench warfare. What was its name?
  12. The Brits used an ancient technology to get grenades into the enemy's trenches. What was its name? It was replaced by a French device which had less range. Gee, that makes sense. The Germans of course used a higher tech version for greater distance.
  13. The British Special Operations Executive Unit in WW II developed a unique explosives delivery method. Middle eastern terrorists just took it a step further. What was the British delivery method? Supposedly the Nazis were impressed.
  14. Staying with this grisly theme what was the Yoksuka MXY-7 OHKA? It was a high tech version of what the Japanese were already using.
  15. The Silbervogel failed to reach production due to a “slight” thermodynamics miscalculation. How did this miscalculation affect the Silver Bird? NASA is currently working on accomplishing the Silbervogel's intended transportation goal without the military use, maybe. No, not space travel.
