Very true in many cases! I catch myself at times as a fan....is the "tough/hard-nosed/gritty" player I love really someone I would simply sum up as "dirty" if they played for a rival?!

Only took him a day to find it? High IQ wasn't part of his arsenal I guess.

hey, coaches miss on players all the time. Cam Newton is a great example. Tom Brady is another. UConn has landed a few pretty fair players who were too small, slow, unpolished or whatever for bigger programs. Taylor could be one or he might not be one.

Cam Newton is not a good example. He was behind Tebow at UF....plus when he left there was off the field issues. Florida didn't put up a fight when they left. It wasn't a matter of coaches not seeing his talent...it was Tebow and off field issues that led to his departure.

Obviously he's high on his in game talents, but the real question is, is he a good practice player?

If the choice was Newton and $200,000 from my bank account or Tebow, I'd say a few "Our Father"'s and take Tebow.
