Was kind of excited for Kisunas. But I trust in Hurley. Excited to see who he brings in.

Damn. Really wanted to see what this kid could do in Hurley's system. I know the words 'mutual decision' are thrown around a lot, so I hope that's truly the case here.

I know Hurley has a plan, but it sucks seeing these decommits happen without knowing what that plan is with the other dominoes to fall in our favor.

Maybe Hurley is bringing Cox and a larger chunk of guys from URI than we thought? Let's see how things unfold.

For the recruits, this is a lesson that should resonate. Be very wary of committing to a coach on the hotseat.

We saw it happen with Crean's and Matta's abysmal last classes.

It is also a reason why fans should be very wary of speculating too early about a coach's demise. I'm not talking about this year when things were obviously in the can.

If I were a recruit, I wouldn't go anywhere near a place that's smouldering.

Didn't previous tweets say Hurley asked Kisunas to stay?
Very much could've been a "we'd love to have you if you're willing to accept a smaller role" kind of thing. If he's decommitting and getting offers from Ivy League schools that tells you all you need to know. His offer list during his recruitment wasn't exactly a barnburner either. Purdue, Illinois, and MD were the only two P5 programs worth a lick to recruit him.

Sounds a bit more like "you're not good enough"

I don't know if anyone watched the raw video of him when he committed. It was worlds different than any highlight film. It wasn't pretty. Lots of people here talking about a guy who does the little things, but we need a guy who patrols the paint and plays D or is a back to the basket specialist. Its not hard to teach a guy to screen.
