FYI - Brewster plays 2 games at Albertus Magnus in New Haven this weekend. 4pm 11/18 vs Link Yr Prep (MO) and 10am 11/19 vs Mt Zion Prep (MD).
Brewster is 3-0 so far but I haven't made a game. Set your expectations that Kisunas on this team shares time on the floor with a huge number of other quality players and isn't asked to score other than as a contributor.
They have 5 FRONT COURT players going to P5 schools + 2 guards to Cuse so Kisunas is 1 of 7 P5 scholarship players on the team, plus Brian Shaw's son who scored 10 in his first game, and LaPhonso Ellis' son who scored 15 in his first game and 10 in his second. Plus, Jr Sherif Kenney we have shown interest in, who had 21 pts and 8 assists in his first game and 14 pts in his second. And, a Jr G Joel Brown who scored 13 pts and then 11 pts with 7 assists. So 7 P5 players + 4 others that are scoring in double figures depending on the game.
In the front court, Isaiah Mucius (Wake) has scored 23pts w/5 3's, and 25 pts, Derek Culver (WV) has a 12pt 10RB game, and a 14pt 10 RB. Nate Roberts (Washington) has a 14 pt 11RB game, Miles Norris (Oregon) has 10pt 10RB game. Amongst all this scoring and rebounding talent in just 3 games, Kisunas was the leading rebounder in game #2 with 12 boards. He has a lot of competition off the boards even from other Brewster players.
Buddy Boeheim is one of the guards going to Cuse and had a 12pt 5 RB game so far. Brendan Paul is the other guard going to Cuse.
Hopefully some boneyarders can make the games and report what they see.
