My word, it is spectacular.

Agree, leaving game now. I recalled when I first got in how gorgeous it looked. Thinking they put new turf in with BCS game next week.

My word, it is spectacular.

It's an excellent facility. It could use some reworking, and the Dolphins may be forced into it by the NFL in an effort to lure more Super Bowls there, but it's a really good field now that the baseball team is finally out of there. It's just a shame that the Orange Bowl game itself has gone from what used to be such a great event to what it is now with the likes of Northern Illinois playing in the game.

Be careful, that's what folks were saying about a certain New England team playing in The Fiesta Bowl.

I hear you, and upon reflection it seems that I am being very unkind to Northern Illinois. I just see a huge difference in the champion of a league that had West Virginia and Louisville as members as opposed to this NIU team that beat...who exactly? Part of this is also my disappointment at how unimportant the OB game itself seems now. Growing up I was able to see great players and great teams year after year in what was a meaningful game and now it just isn't the same as I think this game has suffered more than any other with the advent of the BCS. For , Florida State was playing in the game and they couldn't generate any interest around here. That was unthinkable in the old days.
