Kibitzer Memorial Badass Award

Yeah - hard to single out any one player. Thought KK and Serah upped their offense, Allie and KK had 4 steals each, but when they were pressing and trapping everyone did their jobs, and who actual got assigned the steal often depended on which way the Butler player pivoted, or went to the player off the ball who picked off the lame duck pass. Ash led with 5 assists. Jana led with 11 boards including 5 offensive. And only 12 turnovers was great with all the different line-ups Geno was running out there. So ...

'Team' is a good award here where all 5 starters scored 10+, and only one scored more than 11 (Azzi with 17) and where no one really made a 'statement.'

NB I don't remember a Uconn team that has consistently forced so many held-balls as this team does on defense, and depending on the arrow, half of those are turnovers.

A TIE BETWEEN JANA / 11 BOARDS AND THE TEAM/ 5 PLAYERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES. The defense was it's usual stingyness. All around satisfactory Uconn performance. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!

FULL TEAM, I agree with all the above. But I really enjoyed that
end to end layup by K9! By the way, if interested, see the highlight for
Jovana Papova on the recruiting page (today)... you'll see Jovana
also going END TO END ... NICE!

I have to go with KK again. Shes playing with her right hand wrapped, her left pinky wrapped and a face mask on yet seems it be involved in just about any "skirmish" whenever shes on the court.
She doesnt let the other team's ball handler breath and she has been slicing thru their defense like the 3rd money on the ramp to the ark and its starting to rain.
Now THATS bad ass.
