I think it was because the refs missed it and then the replays shown on the TV replay, there was no clear shot of the shot Kayleigh took to the face. Yes, I'm speaking as a homer...

I'd like not to see anything resembling a flop. I say it was last night. At the least it was an exaggeration. UConn doesn't have to do that.
Remember Nika a few times would feel contact to her head and jerk her head back as a reflex. We were short-handed and Nika was fighting her butt off in the trenches, but..... It wasn't fair when Nika got physical fouls called on her, that weren't really fouls. (her 4th against USC)
