Kibitzer Memorial Badass Award

I haven't called her name in a while. Paige is my BadAss tonight. She carried much of the load in the 1st half when UConn was a little disjointed, while getting banged around a lot, including hitting 2 really difficult "and ones" from mid-range.

Ashlynn earns a badass Award every game. She's a try focused kid. Paige having her knee banged up twice and coming back is pretty badass as well. But I'm giving it to Aubrey. She always shows up in South Orange. Good to see her getting stronger every game. Seeing her return to her otherworldly athleticism is a pleasure.

During the game it was said that Ash excelled at both ends. I will add "and all the corners too!" Just watch only her for 5 minutes (or the whole game) and see if she stands still for more than a few seconds. She reads the whole court and gets to where she needs to get, and usually does something positive. I just love her game...every game.

Paige is almost the player of the game in any game as in last night. However, Ash was everywhere, scoring, rebounding and running down loose balls. Same as the USC game, she has shown such maturity and confidence this year. Ash deserves a huge BY group hug. Love the way this kid plays the game. ASH all the way!

I have not even had a chance to see this game yet- so take this for what it worth. But I did see the box score posted by @HuskyNan - and somehow Azzi was a +45, in 27 minutes with only scoring 3 times? Sounds to me like the SH scout was focused on the “The ghost of Azzi Fudd @ SC”. It’s impossible to stay on Azzi and Paige and provide help D in the lane. So I’ll go with the Ghost of Azzi, opening the driving lanes like Moses parting the Red Sea

I'm going with Ash, she was hindered in the first half by some questionable fouls, was hustling on every play and had the play of the game saving the ball from going out of bounds and getting an assist at the same time with Aubrey's catch and layup. Aubrey was a very close second in my opinion, but Ash was nothing but a disruptive maniac on both the offense and defense.
