But I loved the way AZ played such great defense then carried the team offensively

Geno indicated that early this season KC gave the other players on the team too much respect. Basically passing up good opportunities while surrendering the ball to others. He didn’t say ‘intimidated’, but that is kinda what I took from that comment. Either way, she certainly had gotten over that!

It’s courage now. Whether she is making the shots (like tonight) or not making the shots like Saturday, she is certainly taking the shots! She is coming on strong with a scoring attitude. ‘Get your popcorn cuz I’m putting up a number!’ Sometimes the popcorn will be richly buttered, other times sort of dry, but if we’re needing more offense, Chen is proving to be courageous enough to take the shots.
