The smiling assasin got UConn off and running with maybe the best shooting 1st qtr I have ever seen from a UConn player and from that point on, ISU never got close. Ashlynn is tonight's BAD ASS!!!

As much fun as the points are and we had 3 big scorers tonight I can't say enough about Kailtyn Chen who came in used to being the top scorer and has put that aside to play great defense and distribute the ball beautifully. 8 more assists tonight.

I’m for Ash as the bad ass, but the two headed monster of ICE and Jana holding Crooks to 22 pts., 6 rebounds, 0 offensive, and effectively making her a non factor in the game, deserve an honorable mention.

Also a shoutout to Ice who, as I’d hoped, did a great job on Crooks.

I am of the opinion that for THIS game it would have to be a Tri- Badass of SARAH, PAIGE and ASHLYNN. How can you separate them? They played brilliantly and the whole team out-played IOWA State in every statisticle catagory. I cannot separate them. The three deserved it as one. GO FRESHMEN!!!! GO SOPHOMORES!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!

Ash, going 7 for 7 in the first qtr, outscoring ISU 20 to 10 and basically owning the Cyclones by being one herself. I love the new nickname the Atomic Dogs.
