I don’t usually give this one to Paige, mainly because she’d get it every game in my view if I did that. But this game she was particularly badass. Aaliyah was also badass for pinning fouls on Dalce early. And KK was badass for fighting for rebounds and loose balls.

I’ll go against the grain and cast my vote for Nika. She was obviously in some pain after that collision. I’m sure if it’d been a blow to the head and her eye was swelling shut she would’ve said, “Janelle, cut me.”.

Paige had a great game for sure, but Nika showed the warrior ethos. Not only taking a shot to the thigh and working her way back into the game, but standing up for her team mates when things got, shall we say, a bit physical. The two clutch baskets in the 4th when the lead was cut to 7 were just what were needed.

Going beyond Paige, a badass shoutout to our freshmen Ash and KK. Those two got to get banged around for 40 minutes each. Between the two I'll go with Ash. She isn't the quickest but defines tenacious; she just keep taking the hits and plugs away on every play. I have never seen her take a possession off - ever. She and KK may have hit the freshman wall but both are more than willing to bang into it for the full 40 if need be.
