Being the floor leader, playing defense (she is their best defensive player), guarding the other team's best guard, etc. Like Kia and Gabby, she can keep her man in front of her. Ask the Sparks' head coach [B]Brian Agler[/B], or any of their players, and they would all tell you, they would have a hard time winning without her. Agler is not stupid. He has won 2 WNBA championships. Veteran players like beard, that know what they're doing, and can still play defense are hard to come by. As long as Beard can play at that level, he's not going to cut or trade her.
