Played pretty good for a "nervous freshmen"!

When the team was kinda "stale" on defense at the end, that hustle play to dive for the ball in the corner to maintain possession was critical. Nice thing about freshman, they don't have the memory and pressure that juniors and seniors have, and they can play you in or out (freshmen mistakes) of a game. She played us in.

Great post. Doris said several times in games leading up to the NC that she thought Kia was nervous. I guess she did not see the games leading up to the NCAA's because she did not play her best basketball from the offensive side the 2nd half of the year. Her defense, however, was always stellar...
