Defense looks disorganized. They seem to have wide open jump shots every time down the floor.

Stef starting well, 6 of our 8 points. Great pick and roll on the first play with Bria.

Joined the game a little late, 8-5 is the score. Kiah showing nice mobility face-guarding her assignments away from the basket, several rebounds for her. UCONN "O" looking to dump it into Stef at all opportunities. Pace a very small team (6'0" or less). Stef running the floor hard, out on the break impressively.

Almost a steal by Kelly. Kiah padding her rebound stats by getting her own miss last time.

Stokes missing a short one - she shows good length and agility, but this is a good example of her being young and not as strong as the top of the class talent like EWilliams. No knock on Kiah (from my hometown, BTW).

Hartley has a nose for the ball, she gets a lot of rebounds for a guard.

We have FOUR turnovers. Geno won't be happy with that.

Pace doesn't look scared at all. I am kind of impressed.

Bria still does that thing where she dribbles laterally instead of at the basket. I remember Geno saying last year that is drove him crazy. Her D has definitely improved, though.

Brianna Banks is going to be deadly.

Much better ball movement on that last possession - Stef missed the bunny, Buck fighting for the rebound but couldn't quite come up with it.

Tiff drives baseline from the right side and scores in the layin.

Stef yet again out ahead on the break - very impressive for her to be out there consistently. Tiff launching another 3 and missing.

Buck looking like the stronger of the two subs (Kiah vs. Buck) to my mind.

Kelly dribbles to the middle, stops, pops, misses. Pace gets rebound, but then Kelly gets a steal, drives the floor misses, Hayes cleans it up.

Finally we force a shot clock violation.

Stef hits a nice 15-footer.

Kelly's shot looks the same as last year.

Looks like they miss KML out there...both offense and defense look a bit lost.

Heather Buck does the exact same thing my fifth-graders do when they get a rebound - brings it down to her waist.
