His recruiting has fallen off a bit. With Jalen Carey at Cuse and Boeheims son, Battle won’t be a primary option. Still Butler is starting to become a destination for talent with Jordan Tucker and now Battle there.

Early verbals scare me, I mean obviously I will take them but it scares off other recruits at their position and kids often change their minds. Especially after seeing all the attention other kids in their class who are uncommitted are getting.

He’s not good enough (at least currently) to warrant their interest. Even for Butler he’s a reach right now. He’s been absolutely horrible in AAU play. He switched teams and has just chucked and missed everything regardless of who he was running with. He’s got the raw talent and we’ve seen what his brother can do, so best of luck to him.
