Keyboard Intros and/or Solos in Songs - Album or Live

Rod Argent on the organ. I’m pretty sure the first part is on a real tracker (church) organ.

hey! boot-teh! why that one with this one kicking around? i mean, it's not like this vid intro has a pic of sumone tickling the ivories.... or is it? lol.

signed, 'just walkin around, pickin up the loose change.'

iffn u think this is ez, show us. i'll hang up and wait.

and now u know the lyrics! uhhmmm, mebbe, cuz in my case, it doesn't really help, so i just put this in the 'navel gazing tunes' file.

Other than the six minute solo organ intro? :p

This is John Tout of Renaissance. This one has piano and harpsichord, and features Jon Camp's "bass as lead guitar" sound too. The same album has "At the Harbour," which has a prolonged piano intro that consists entirely of a Debussy piece, played very well.

the orchestral part in the middle is one of my favorite Renaissance instrumental pieces.

Perhaps Rick Wakeman's finest work. After the distinctive church organ segments there's an energetic keyboard solo that always gets me revved up.
