And even if he succeeds in making them good it is questionable whether it will be sustainable, especially moving up in class. Virginia has been even more mediocre in football. My guess is we see Rutgers redux if these moves get made. I’m not sure what the basketball impact will be. Though I could easily see UNC taking a step back when they just become another team in either of the P2 leagues.
