Kevin Ollie : Good Coach

What you saw today is NBA-level in-game coaching in a college game. Not often that you see weak-side Post Isos in the college game. Yet when it was available, Ollie beat that horse until it was dead. A pure pleasure to watch, and although I love coach Calhoun, that was not his strength.

What we are seeing is an immediate, refreshing change in in-game-coaching. Ollie brings much more of an NBA mentality to the game than Calhoun, and as someone who absolutely loves NBA strategy(compared to college), its awesome.

I am glad that W Manuel had the foresight to sign Ollie. Per what you said he can bring a different kind of game. He off to a great start with this group and the best part is he is going to get better each season. He will have his rough stretches and there will be disappointments. It just happens but I am proud this man is our coach. Looking forward to where this program is heading from a player and staff standpoint.
