Nice to see a prominent NBA player respecting the WNBA. I know there have been a lot of players who go to games, but Durant is the first that I have heard of who actually cited a WNBA player as a huge influence in his game. Must make Holdsclaw feel nice inside

I love Durant. He seems like a humble young man. How can you not like a guy who goes to the sidelines to give his mom a hug and a kiss. To me, he is as likeable as LeBron has become unlikeable.

Respect is the right word. He seems to really know the women's game and is not just making a politically correct statement.

That was a great article! Reading how Kevin Durant appreciates the WNBA and gives a little history lesson, shows that he is a fan of the women's game. I really loved the part where he touched on how the WNBA does not get the respect that it rightly deserves by some fans. Mad props to Kevin Durant for his positive comments on the WNBA.
