Kershaw's a UConn Fan

You only know 2 people who watch baseball? You either don't really know any people or I'm calling bullspit.

Even I know who Kershaw is, though baseball for me is pretty much Opening Day at Citi Field, whatever I see on TV in locker rooms/delis/bars pizza places until September, and then the post-season for real.

I can't imagine how anyone (including team-loyal friends) follows Yankees/Mets/Bosox/other throughout a whole season, and yet I'm on the Boneyard year round, nearly daily.

Baseball can't be dying because it's already dead. There wasn't a single baseball player on ESPN's World Fame 100 list from last year. Mike Trout is one of the best baseball players ever, plays in LA, is 26, and has less twitter followers than Kevin Love.

And before somebody cites attendance numbers or tells me about all the 25 year old's they know who like baseball, let's keep in mind that in other businesses, products that are consumed exclusively by old white males are considered dead.

Mike Miller has more than twice as many twitter followers than Jose Altuve. Think about that.

I don’t understand how. I literally only know one person that watches it and he’s gambling. I actually know one other guy but he’s 70, so I consider him a holdover from the past.

Sooooo, not literally then?
