Why aren't they being talked about for the NIT? It's probable that they lose at Florida and it's easy to imagine them being bounced out of their conference tourney right away. Far too much respect being given to the Kentucky name right now.
They aren't very good, but they do have 13 top 100 wins, and three of their losses are to RPI Top 25 teams.
For them to be even marginally a bubble team, they'd have to lose to RPI 118 Alabama @Home (very unlikely since Alabama hasn't won a road or neutral game all year). Then get beat really badly @Florida (very likely). That would drop them from 2nd to 5th in the conference. Then they'd need to lose their first round SEC game (against Auburn or South Carolina).
Even in that scenario, though, they are 21-11 with 13 Top 100 RPI wins--which would be more than us even if we win out.
They stink, but they have a solid enough resume that, worse case scenario they're a 10-11 seed.
