Free throw conversion over the entire game, and, the last free throw, hurt Cal.

Howard saved it all for the 4th period. 3-13 and 10 pts in the 1st 3 periods and then 7-11 and 19 pts in the 4th.

Too bad Cal couldn't score a second consecutive win over a dubiously ranked SEC team.

I wasn't able to see this one, but I see Kentucky led for most of the game, and in fact led most of the 2nd half by 6 to 11 points. Cal made a great late effort to tie the game with 9 seconds left, but missed 2 of 3 FTs in the last 30 seconds.

Congrats to Kentucky, their first quasi-meaningful win of the season.
