Great news, this is clearly the right decision but with the way we've been treated by the NCAA I think most of us were nervous. This gives us needed depth in the frontcourt, can't wait for this season to start. Now let's send the NCAA a waiver for Purvis to play this year.

The 6-foot-9 Facey's status was in doubt due to his academic background while in his native Jamaica.

Goodman is either intentionally or lazily allowing the average fan unaware of facey's situation to read a scenario where it appears he is academically unqualified. I'm predisposed to hating goodman and oversensitive about APR, but I don't think I'm splitting hairs here. I think its bs.

I'm super psyched that we'll have our full roster available, but I don't think ACC or B!G thinks they're missing out on us given the state of our football program. We will remain a dominant basketball force, but the strength of our hoops program alone may never be enough to warrant an invitation to a major conference.
