KenPom is an awesome website, but it takes about four weeks for the algorithm to really work. With Connecticut opening up sports betting, KenPom is the source I use to find value bets, but in general, just a fun website to navigate.

Definitely worth the $20/year membership.

Xavier at 26 is higher than I suspected, but good for the league if accurate.

Nova has no replacement for JRE, I expect Xavier and UCONN to really push for top spot in Big East. If both are on their A games I think it will be a great race for best of the Big East.

I feel like if we are playing that slow then something has gone very wrong. We have so much athleticism at every position, we really need to be playing up tempo as much as possible. Most teams won't be able to defend us if we go fast

Think of it like this: if a team had a 51% chance to win each game in a 10-game season, you wouldn’t expect them to go 10-0. You’d probably expect them to win 5 or 6 games, despite never being an underdog.
