Funny, I was thinking the same thing last night and it really doesn't have much to do with Bobby. It may change the attitude enough to help. If Tito could pitch it would be a no brainer.

Maybe, hopefully, should the Yanks likely miss the playoffs, Francona will become the manager of the 2013 NY Yankees.

If the Yankees miss the playoffs, it is in no way, shape, or form Girardi's fault. Period.

While it is hardly on him completely he is part of it. Swisher batting 3rd last night when he hasn't fouled off a pitch never mind getting hits in his last 30 AB's is yet another Girardi head scratcher........

But again he's been dealt a crappy hand no doubt.........but also dealt a big lead!!!

Joe Girardi is a lower rung manager IMO and continually gets schooled by much better managers. If I had an opportunity to replace Girardi with Francona, I wouldn't even have to pause to think about it.
