Somehow I had no idea this was in the works, much less released. I couldn't sleep last night and got up to watch some TV to take my mind away and thankfully landed right on the start of this. Watched the first episode and will definitely be making it a priority to watch the other three.

Fascinating, totally compelling and highly recommended.

Just finished the first part. I'll be interested in how Burns put this together as I'm amazed at the number of clips I'd never seen, and I thought I'd seen everything on Ali.

I'll add that if you weren't alive when he was at his peak, you really missed something special that has never been equaled. I was only 8 when he first beat Liston, but even then I understood something major was happening simply from the reactions of the adults in my life.

No idea this was even out there. What’s it on, PBS?

Yeah - you can stream it from their website.
If your cable system has On Demand you can also access it that way; when I went to go set the recording for all episodes it gave me the option to watch any of the episodes immediately.
