Tidbit from ESPN of all places...

Over the last two seasons, Kemba Walker leads the league with go-ahead baskets in the final 3 seconds of the fourth quarter or OT (3).

21 of his points were in the 4th quarter last night 9 of 10 in the quarter including 3 threes, plus 4 boards, and assist and a block.

Should have been over, as he scored to take a 2 pt lead with 0.7 left. But Rudy Gay scored on an alley-oop off the inbound pass to tie the game.

So Kemba scored 4 more in OT.

Not a bad game for the alums. Box lines of interest...
  • Rudy had 28 points (13/21 and 2/4) and 10 boards.
  • KEmba had 39 (16/23 and 4/6) and 6 boards, 5 dimes, 2 steals and 3 blocks.
  • JLamb had 11 (5/9 and 0/2) and 5 board, 2 dimes and a steal.

I feel that the most impressive stat from Kemba's line is 3 blocks. We all know he can fill it up, but 3 blocks for a guy under 6 feet is pretty darn impressive.

If I recall correctly, he actually gets a decent amount of blocks, specifically for a guard of course, but I owned him in fantasy last year and I was shocked at how many times he'd snag one or two which if you play fantasy is enough to give you a boost

Hopefully this continues its not out of the realm of possibility for Kemba to get into the all star game gotta stay consistent and keep the hornets above .500, who are the top of in the east- Rose, Lowry, Teague, Kyrie (injured).
