Didn't see the Bobcats v. Magic game last night, but just looking at the box score, it looks like Kemba had a good night. Although he didn't start, he had 29 minutes which was third most on the team and more minutes than Augustin, the starting PG. He also just missed a double-double with 10 points and 8 assists. Also kept the turnovers down with just 2.

Wait till next year, with a full season and practices, he will be a beast. This season was like he graduated, then immediately was shoved on to the NBA court. Consequently as a result of the lockout; fewer practices, lack of player familiarity, no NBA education, etc.. Then to play with the worst team in the league didn't help. He belongs that's for sure.

Unfortunately, the Bobcats are so awful, Kemba won more games in the BET last year than he has this whole year with Charlotte so far.

I saw that they were down pretty big, I wonder if it was Kemba who sparked the run to get them back in and put them ahead. I haven't been able to comment on Kemba's play because I just haven't been able to take watching the Bobcats play. I was pretty skeptical of the Biyombo pick but he's been putting together a nice string of games and he played pretty good D on Howard in the post last night and even blocked one of his hooks after D12 had created separation to get the jump hook off. Kemba, him, Henderson, and a high draft pick should be good pieces to build with, hopefully they get the #1 pick to select Anthony Davis so MJ doesn't screw it up.

On another note, I read that Kemba told his mom to come up from NC to support the team during the BET and she has tickets for all 5 days, hopefully she is a good luck charm for us.

Charlotte should add a good player via the draft. If Kemba improves his shot, something I expect him to do, they will make a jump next year.
